There’s also 3 structures on the eastern side of the church, the right temple bears the name “St. John the Baptist”, the left one bears the name “St. Mary George”, and the middle bears the name “St. Virgin Mary”, in addition to a small grouping of column capitals which can be characterized by the “Corinthian” style..
The Hanging Church witnessed the first restoration process in 1998, and the restoration of the church included treating the consequences resulting from the increase in the groundwater level, in addition to restoring the church’s icons and murals.
