Tomb of Prince Aladdin Kojk. Probably the most honorable king, Alaa al-Din Kajak ibn al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Qalawun (born in Cairo 1334 – died in Syracuse 1345). The 2nd to go up to the throne of the Sultanate from the sons of Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad bin Qalawun and the fourteenth sultans of the Mamluk state. It had been installed by the princes in the entire year 1341 underneath the leadership of Prince Qusun al-Nasiri once they deposed his brother Saif al-Din Abu Bakr. He was between five and seven years of age, and he remained on the sultanate for around five months. His name “Kajk” is just a Turkish word which means small.

He was the son of Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad and grandson of Sultan Al-Mansur Qalawun. His mother was Mongolian, her name was Urdu. After Prince Qusun deposed his brother Abu Bakr and arrested him and his six brothers and imprisoned them in Qus, he agreed with the princes to set up Kajak while the sultan of the nation with the title “Al-Malik Al-Ashraf&rdquo ;.The princes desired to grant Prince Edgmash the career of deputy of the Sultanate, but he refused, so once they offered the career to Prince Qusun before him, but on the situation that his residence maintain the mountain castle and not in the prosecution house away from castle, they agreed and he became a deputy to the little Sultan and was a follower of the military.
