Medinet Habu (photo gallery 14) Medinet Habu was the birthplace of the ancient Egyptian god Amun. The exact date of the emergence of Amun is not known to anyone. However, there is an assumption that it was in 2100 BC. One form of translating the word “Amun” is “secret, hidden”. The ancient Egyptians raised the god Amon and considered him the most important, who stood above all the gods.
