The Moez Street is an eclectic blend of medieval mosques and modern vendors. It’s located in the Gamaleya neighborhood, adjacent to the world-famous Khan el Khalili bazaar. Begun at the Bab El Fotouh gate, Moez Street meanders southward until it reaches Al Azhar Street. It continues on through the El Ghouri Complex and ends at the Tentmakers’ Market.

Minarets, which have been also elaborate, normally consisted of three tiers separated by balconies, with each tier having a special design than the others. Late mamluk minarets, for instance, most sometimes had an octagonal shaft for the first tier, a spherical shaft on the second, and a lantern construction with finial on the third level. Domes also transitioned from wood or brick buildings, sometimes of bulbous form, to pointed stone domes with complicated geometric or arabesque motifs carved into their outer surfaces. Visiting Al-Moez Street and walking in it at different times of the day is one of the most beautiful times that you can spend in your life. It is the most beautiful street in the world.
