Greco Roman funerary monuments

The complex is surrounded by a pathway of flowers, shrubbery and remnants of Greco-Roman funerary monuments, giving the tombs a marvellous setting. The tombs consist of a collection of corridors and rooms with niches carved out of the rock.

The layout is sort of difficult, especially because they were not made for a single person or perhaps a family, but for a whole company. The Anfushi tombs are embellished in a mix of Pharaonic and Ptolemaic kinds. There are five tombs on this area, two of which are a magnet for most consideration due to their spectacular decoration.
