Bayt Al-Suhaymi or you can say (House of Suhaymi) is an Islamic themed house and historical center in Cairo city. It was initially worked in 1648 by Abdel Wahab el Tablawy along the Darb al-Asfar, an extremely esteemed and costly piece of Islamic Cairo. In 1796 it was bought by Sheik Ahmed as-Suhaymi whose family held it for a few ensuing ages. The Sheik enormously expanded the house from its unique through integrating adjoining houses into its design.
The house (Maison Al Suhaimi) is worked around a sahn in the focal point of which there is a little nursery with plants and palm trees. From here a few of the fine mashrabiyas windows in the house should be visible. Today the house is a gallery which unfamiliar guests can visit it in Cairo Egypt. A large part of the marble floor work – wooden furnishings – and it is as yet flawless to roof style. Rebuilding occurred after the tremor of 1992.

The house, which we photographed with the utmost accuracy, and we recorded all its sides and rooms, which is allowed to be visited, includes several basic and main halls in the house, which is the usual form for those places. In the industry, looking at the top, you can see that some ceilings of the halls have skylights topped with a wooden rattle.
Bayt Al-Suhaymi As for the walls and their distinctive shape of the well-known Islamic character, we find that the walls of some of the halls are covered from below with decorative wood trim and carved in the way of wood engraving in the form of old faience tiles. Marble in the floors. In the halls of the house you will find wooden bars, wooden windows, wheels and antique writings. Bayt Al-Suhaymi in Cairo Egypt, Al Moez Ldin Allah Al Fatmi street
