Al Qalyubia Governorate in Egypt and its capital is Banha. Qalyubia governorate is situated in the East Nile region at the top of the Delta, and is bordered by Cairo and Giza governorates to the south, Dakahlia and Gharbia governorates to the north, Sharkia governorates to the east and Al Menoufia governorates to the west. Qalyubia Governorate is the 3rd governorate in the Greater Cairo region, along with the governorates of Cairo and Giza.
